Matcha leaves are  ground on an ancient granite wheel to a delicate, fine powder. The brighter the powder the better the quality.

Ours is grown in the shade to increase chlorophyll content and picked in the spring.

Matcha contains caffeine but not the jittery, twitchy type. It’s rich in a mellow amino acid that leaves you sharp NOT stimulated, plus it boosts metabolism and helps burn fat.

Other good stuff includes: a source of fibre, potassium, vitamin C, beta-carotene, magnesium and calcium.
